Participants will be treated to an exceptional assortment of Great Lakes wines while enjoying incredible edibles created by local chefs.  Other exhibitors will be on hand to showcase an assortment of wine accompaniments.

A noted jazz artist will provide distinctive smooth Jazz to entertain attendees as they enjoy the tastes of the evening.

Special wine tasting and other classes will be available for a fee.

We expect to commit approximately $5,000 in advertising which may include the following media for this event:

  • Radio and/or TV Advertising:  WCSY, WVPE and WSNS; WNDU-TV, WNIT
  • Posters, Flyers and Postcards: Displayed in local and regional businesses and organizations.

Our Location is Perfect for a Wine Festival!

Winter Delights will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 in the Grand Upton Hall at The Mendel Center at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, Michigan, located in southwest Michigan and home of the world’s largest appliance manufacturer, as well as other thriving businesses and institutions.  The area also attracts a high number of tourists and second home owners.

The festival is only a ninety-minute drive from downtown Chicago, and forty-five minutes from South Bend, Indiana. 

Communities in the Michiana area have received numerous accolades, such as Best Places to Retire, (St. Joseph, MI, awarded 5th place for Terrific Towns on the Water; Money Magazine, 2008); Most Romantic Location (St. Joseph, awarded by The Detroit Free Press, 2006).

The area is also home to a number of wineries and distilleries with wine and spirits that are sure to please any palette!
